CompanyPulse is a team status and intelligence workspace. Teammates share quick async updates (what shipped, what’s blocked, what’s next), leaders see freshness and health on a dashboard, and optional AI digests summarize trends for managers. It’s built to replace noisy standups with a clear, searchable record of how work is moving.

How does the daily pulse work?

Each person posts a short update on their rhythm-often daily. Updates are structured so blockers, priorities, and progress are easy to scan. You see who’s checked in, whose status is stale, and what needs a nudge, without pulling everyone into a meeting.

On Team and Business plans, CompanyPulse can generate digest summaries from your team’s activity-themes, risks, and follow-ups-so leads get a readable narrative instead of digging through threads. Scope and scheduling depend on your plan; Free focuses on core status and dashboard without AI digests.

What are pulse surveys?

On Team and Business plans, you can run anonymous pulse surveys to measure morale, workload, engagement, and more. Responses are collected anonymously using cryptographic hashing - no one, not even admins, can trace a response back to an individual. AI automatically analyzes results and highlights key themes. Business plans add cross-survey trend detection to track how sentiment evolves over time.

How do idea boards work?

Idea boards let your team submit ideas, upvote what matters, and discuss in threaded comments. Admins curate ideas through structured phases (collecting → reviewing → voting → closed) and can promote the best ideas into action plans. Available on Team and Business plans.

What are AI action plans?

Action plans are AI-generated from survey insights or idea board results. The AI creates concrete tasks with suggested owners and priorities. Teams can track completion directly inside CompanyPulse. Team plans include 3 AI action plans per month; Business and Enterprise include unlimited.

What does the Insights dashboard show?

Insights gives you a team-level pulse view (participation rates, health timeline, blocker resolution) and a contributor leaderboard. Individual profiles show GitHub-style contribution heatmaps, streaks, and milestone achievements. Business plans add org-wide cross-team views for executives. Available on Team and Business plans.

How do integrations work?

You connect tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Notion, ClickUp, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and others (availability varies by plan). Integrations enrich context-e.g. PRs, issues, or doc activity-so updates stay tied to real work. On Free you can connect GitHub; Team and Business unlock more integrations and richer workflows.

What are blockers and team health?

Blockers are called out explicitly in updates so they don’t get lost in chat. The product surfaces stale work, stuck items, and team-level signals so managers can intervene early. Exact insights depend on your plan-Business adds deeper health and trend views.

How are organizations and teams structured?

You create an organization, invite members, and organize people into teams. Permissions and reporting follow that structure so the right people see the right pulses and digests-whether you’re one squad or many.

Traffic is encrypted in transit; sensitive data is protected at rest using industry-standard practices. Access is scoped by role and organization membership. Enterprise customers can discuss stricter retention, export, and compliance needs with us directly.

How does sign-in work? Do you support SSO?

You can sign in with email/password where enabled, and with Google or Microsoft on supported plans. Enterprise includes SAML-based SSO for organizations that need centralized identity and policy control.

What’s the difference between Free, Team, and Business?

Free covers small groups: daily status, dashboard, blocker detection, one GitHub integration, and 7-day history with community support. Team adds AI daily digests, pulse surveys with AI analysis, idea boards, 3 AI action plans per month, contributor Insights, up to 4 integrations, 30-day history, and email support. Business adds weekly rollups, cross-survey trends, unlimited action plans, org-wide Insights views, all integrations, 365-day history, and priority support. Enterprise adds SAML SSO, custom integrations, unlimited retention, a dedicated CSM, and SLA options.

How does pricing and billing work?

Paid plans are generally priced per seat per month (annual billing is available where shown). You add or remove seats as your team changes; charges follow your billing cycle and plan. Exact invoices and tax treatment depend on your region and payment method.

Can we try paid features before committing?

You can start on Free and move to Team or Business when you need AI digests, more integrations, or higher limits-no separate “trial” is required to explore the product, though paid features unlock only after you subscribe to the right plan.
